Biography
Hilde Rom (born Hilda Erperstorfer; January 3, 1928 – October 12, 2019) was an Austrian actress known for her extensive work in film, television, and theatre. She gained wide popularity as a long-standing ensemble member of the Löwinger-Bühne, whose folk comedies were regularly broadcast on Austrian and German television. Alongside her stage career, Rom appeared in numerous Austrian and German films from the 1950s onward, ranging from classic dramas to popular comedies. Married to actor Josef Hendrichs from 1952 until his death in 2009, she remained a familiar and respected presence in Austrian popular culture for decades.
